This urban park project emerges as an integral response to contemporary public space needs, understanding the city as an environment that requires living, safe and multifunctional areas. The proposal seeks to offer a place where the community can coexist, play, practice sports, reflect and reconnect with nature amid the urban context. The park is conceived as a new civic and social nucleus, accessible, inclusive and dynamic.
The design is organized from a radial walkway scheme connecting different thematic nuclei. Each node fulfills a specific function, allowing a clear reading of the space and a fluid and continuous journey experience. This system facilitates visual integration between the different areas and favors orientation, universal accessibility and coexistence among users of all ages.
The material selection responds to durability, low-maintenance and aesthetic coherence criteria with the urban environment:
The landscape design combines native and ornamental vegetation to generate shade, microclimates and a sensory experience rich in textures and colors. Strategic planting contributes to sun exposure control, natural ventilation and thermal comfort. Nighttime lighting was conceived to highlight paths, plazas and sculptural elements functionally and poetically, encouraging safe park use throughout the day and reinforcing its symbolic character within the city.
The central fountain, monuments and concrete and stone paths dialogue with each other, generating symmetries that organize the space without losing fluidity. The result is a park consolidated as the civic and cultural heart of its community: a living, inclusive space designed to be inhabited.
