This pediatric dentistry clinic was designed under an integral sensory, playful and emotional approach, with the goal of transforming the traditional dental visit experience into a friendly, immersive and even fun experience for children. The project seeks to reduce fear, generate trust and awaken curiosity, turning architecture and interior design into allies of children's wellness.
The concept revolves around the marine world, creating an underwater universe that envelops each space. Ceilings evoke the ocean floor through organic forms and bluish lighting, while curved lines accompany the journey from access and reception to the offices. The color palette—turquoise, aqua blue, white and coral yellow accents—is inspired by corals, algae and marine creatures, reinforcing an atmosphere of calm, fantasy and play.
From the entrance, the space is conceived as a narrative experience:
The offices are designed to offer clinical functionality without losing the playful character of the ensemble. Large windows allow natural light entry, while graphic elements of jellyfish, fish and corals accompany the medical experience with warmth and soft visual stimuli. Themed ceilings and light-toned furniture contribute to generating a relaxed and safe environment.
The material selection responds to durability, hygiene and high-traffic criteria, without sacrificing aesthetic appearance:
The project integrates fully equipped offices with waiting and play areas connected fluidly. The design favors the emotional bond between the space and child patients, helping transform the dentist visit into a positive and memorable experience.
This space not only meets clinical needs, but cares for, contains and transforms. Architecture becomes an active tool in the emotional and physical health process of the little ones, demonstrating the power of design as a wellness agent.
