The main bathroom of the Puerto de Hierro Residence was conceived as a space of contemplation and wellness, where interior architecture establishes a constant dialogue with natural light and the exterior landscape. The project starts from an essential premise: creating a daily sanctuary of serene atmosphere, clean lines and noble materials, elevating the daily experience to a ritual of calm and comfort.
The proposal is built from a sober and sophisticated composition, where volumes, textures and lighting are carefully balanced. The finish palette integrates white marble with soft gray veins, natural wood with vertical grain in warm tones and ribbed glass with black profiles, generating an elegant and timeless reading.
The continuous slab sinks with suspended furniture provide visual continuity and lightness to the ensemble, while backlit mirrors amplify the sensation of spaciousness, order and neatness. The shower area is resolved through matte black aluminum framing and walls covered with natural gray stone, incorporating texture and subtle contrast within the space. The built-in wood furniture allows for discreet and functional storage, maintaining a clean and organized aesthetic.
Lighting plays a leading role in the design. Decorative blown glass pendant lights are integrated with warm-toned indirect LED light traces, emphasizing architectural volumes without invading the environment. Linear sconces over mirrors complement functional lighting and reinforce the sensory experience of the space.
Organic decorative pieces, such as white orchids and ceramic vases in neutral tones, bring balance, subtlety and life to the ensemble without breaking the design harmony.
